I'm Nathan Sinclair — a fintech operations leader working at the intersection of operations and analytics engineering. I lead teams, design dbt models, and build the dashboards and automations behind portfolio performance at scale.

I spent the last decade running collections, recovery, and client-experience teams at PayBright (Affirm), Wealthsimple, and Fig Financial — building the operational systems that keep fintech portfolios healthy.
Along the way I got tired of waiting on dashboards to answer questions my team needed today. So I picked up the stack — SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and modern BI — and started shipping the models, metrics, and pipelines myself. It made me a sharper operator and a better partner to the data and engineering teams I work with.
Today I sit at the intersection of operations and analytics engineering — leading teams, owning portfolio outcomes, and building the data layer underneath them. - Scaled managed accounts per FTE 5× through new segmentation models, workflow automation, and refined KPI monitoring.
- Launched segmented customer treatment strategies that reduced roll rates by 10% with measurable improvements in net write-off (NWO).

- Co-led Wealthsimple's first Account Opening BPO initiative, freeing internal bandwidth for high-touch work.
- Partnered with Fraud, Compliance, and CX leadership to refine routing logic — improving resolution speed.

@ PayBright / Affirm- Owned end-to-end resolutions and recovery workflows; used SQL, Zendesk Explore, and Looker to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Led CRM migration from Zendesk to Salesforce — improved data integrity, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional visibility.
- Built PayBright's first BPO program with CBCC, ARO, and Indebted; scaled volume by 80% through training, SOPs, and QA frameworks.
